Okay. Now, allow me to describe my current situation with cold, stiff hands. Wait, before that, please excuse any errors I make, for my hands are FREEZING COLD. I shall explain why in the following paragraph. [I can't indent? D:]
So, here's the bad news:
--> So, as of the second day of December, 2008, I, Apples01 (also known as Jesus or Moses in game), will not be able to play SummerStory as often as I used to. Why? That is simple. The night I was falsely banned was the last night of my thanksgiving break. That next morning, I had to leave on a plane to Georgia. Now, if you recalled on my previous GM application, I input two locations, both with the same time zone (EST -5:00). The reason is simple. I have stated this before, but I attend a boarding school in Georgia, however, my "house" is in New York. Therefore, I am only in New York during my breaks (in this case, I am referring to breaks as in "Christmas breaks," "Thanksgiving breaks," and so on). When I am in New York, I have full and quick access to the internet. However, when I am in school (boarding school), I have limited access. For example, I cannot play any kind of game requiring a program, such as Gameguard (MapleStory, GunZ, etc.) or Steam (CounterStrike Source and Day of Defeat Source
).
Anyway, as a result of living in a dormitory, there is only ONE way to access it. If I wish to play SummerStory, I must go to the back area of my dorm, on a dirty, old, and gravel picnic table and jump on a foreign internet ON A WEEKEND. By foreign, I mean, not of the school. In other words, there is a wireless connection OUTSIDE of my dormitory where I have unlimited, but slow access to the internet. Moreover, due to the freezing cold weather here, it is IMPOSSIBLE to go out there without my gloves and an insulated jacket. Not only that, but I also have certain times in which I can be in or out of the dormitory.
I apologize for the inconvenience. I will try as hard as I can to play SummerStory as much as possible. However, what I CAN do is stay on the forums, every now and then.
Ready for the good news?
This inconvenience will only last for approximately two and a half weeks or so. This is because of the fact that my Christmas break is coming up! On my Christmas break, I will have approximately two or three weeks. Of course, during this long break, I will have to do some studying and I will be writing a eleven page paper that will critically affect my grades. But do not fear, I will be back!
All in all, I would like to ask for the position of forum moderator. Because of the fact that I am unable to be active in the game, the least I could do is be active in the forums.
