Re: Summer: The Gathering
Change the subject now please. We don't need any holy wars going on here. There is no right religion, Religion is beliefs and faith and all that good stuff and certain cultures have certain religions somewhat native to them. I don't think we need to be having a religious debate break loose now do we? next thing it will be is gay marriage and evolution... Actually that could be a fun thread, someone make it O.o

I'm happy to have another Crusades! I will reclaim Jerusalem!
Buddha wasn't even a prophet. He was a guy who found the 'meaning of life' and taught it to everyone

Which is considered a prophet due to The fact he showed the way to either going to a better place after death or reincarnation....
Which are both what he taught.

All my mom told me about buddha was that he was some poor bum-like person who found "happiness" (Yes, she said happiness in Chinese) by begging for a really long time. But it's nice to know that Buddha is something better. =]

God is something better. It's Christmas, the time when Jesus was born. It's also the time of giving

Despite it being the time of giving, most people cant seem to find the time for that...instead they just expect to be given something...greedibleach wrote:God is something better. It's Christmas, the time when Jesus was born. It's also the time of giving

Want me to ask again? Everytime I ask her something, she says something different and it's more epic each time. (I don't know if it will be more accurate though... if that's what you're lookin for)

Really? Interesting, I'd like you to keep asking....just to see the slight chance of Chuck Norris being mentioned..now wouldn't that be TRUE Epicness?TaChiKaZe wrote:Kumokageda wrote:Buddha was a poor bum huh? Re: Summer: The Gathering
My mom said:
"Buddha was a prince that left his kingdom and he tried to live outside by himself. He didn't have any money and he was weak, so he had to beg for food and money everyday. Eventually he found happiness and showed everyone and everyone became happy. That is why he is our (word here that I could not understand, probably saint)."
