Before this is even read: Are we even allowed to post GM applications? I do not see any topic or thread that allows it, but from the looks of it, some people have already applied. I really do not want to miss out on an oppurtunity like this; thus, I shall apply.
Name: Ivan
Age: 15.
Location and Time Zone: I "live" in New York. However, I attend a boarding school in Georgia. I go back home (in New York) when I am on my breaks (Christmas breaks, Thanksgiving breaks, and so on). Regardless, I am still in the EST (Eastern Standard Time -5:00) time zone.
IGN: Shot and Jesus
GameMaster Experience: Yes. I have been a GameMaster on SebMS for a few weeks, before it was discontinued.
Coding Experience: None, however, when it comes to computers, I am always willing to learn, and I learn quickly.
MapleStory Experience: I have played the actual MapleStory (non-private server) ever since it came out on Beta. Before that, I have played the Korean version (KMS) for a few weeks.
About Me:
People often tell me that I tend to act older than my age. I have to agree with them. Despite my age, I believe that I have the capability of thinking and acting better than many people my age. I almost never get angry. I can handle much stress without change. I have good leadership. I have participated in several leadership programs, such as assisting my martial arts teacher, community service, helping clean up, and other extra-curricular activities. I also LOVE to help. In most everything I do, I try to help to the fullest extent. I do not ignore people who beg and plead for mesos. I would simply tell them, "I am unable to give another player mesos." If they persist, I shall merely ask them to stop, for their question(s) has(have) been answered. If they continue to ignore these things, I will simply teleport somewhere else where they cannot reach me, and let everyone know that GMs are not allowed to give away things to other players.
Why are you applying for the GameMaster position for SummerStory?
Well, I have noticed that this server did not have many GameMasters. Without a GameMaster patrolling the server every so often, anything can happen. Also, I have noticed that the NPCs tend to "die," or disfunction. Due to this, people become discontent and quit playing. At this rate, the SummerStory population will continue to decrease and hover around low numbers. As a result, I would like to help as much as I can in order to regulate the activity, control hacker populations, and keep the people of SummerStory happy. In other words, it is a little less stress for the two(?) GameMasters who are not online 24/7, controlling the environment.
Why should I be picked over any other applicant?
I believe that with the help of a few GameMasters, we can make great and positive changes for this server. Hackers will shiver amd think twice when they hear of my arrival.
If you would like to interview me or ask me any other questions, feel free to do so.
