GM Application Guideline Empty GM Application Guideline

Maybe I'm wrong, but I think there should be a few requirements met for someone to become a GM? I'm not trying to single out or decrease someone's chances, but I really don't think we should have kids runnning a server. The saying, "Never judge a book by its cover" is true, but I am not judging. I am just slightly doubting the capabilities due to the lack of age and experience.

Here's what I think of a good GM Application.

    Name: Your real name

Age: I think that you should be fifteen years of age, or older. This is mainly because people who are younger are not of a similar maturity level. Sure, there are special people who may act older than their age, but that's not many.

Location and Time Zone: Where you live and your time zone.

Past experience as a GameMaster: Have you had any experience as a GM before?

Past experience in coding: Have you coded anything before?

MapleStory Experience: How long have you been playing MapleStory, both private servers and the actual server?

About Me: Talk about yourself, what you want people to know.

Why are you applying for this position? Why do you want to become a GM for this server, rather than any other server that exists?

Why should you be picked for this position, over any other applicant? You're not the only one who is applying. Why should you be selected over someone else? Please don't say things like, "because I'm better" or "I think I can help more."

Additional information: Anything else that might have been left out in the above sections.

A GM application is not something to be lazy on. This is not some school quiz where you just answer some questions in a lazy way and hope you're picked. You have to pay attention to your words, and you want to make people believe that you will be a good GM, and not make your friends think that they'll be cool because they're friends with a GM. You're talking to a community. Treat this like your resume for an important job, such as becoming the mayor of a state, and so on.
