Mini-FAQ [READ BEFORE POSTING]

For those of you who have constantly spammed me about certain issues, look for your answers below.


MINI-FAQ


Question: Why was my account deleted?
Answer: You have probably been banned or rolled back.


Question: Why was I banned?
Answer: You were banned because you have either hacked or failed to abide to the rules. If you were banned anytime between December 20 to December 21, you were probably banned for the following:
1. Using an avatar smega when the GMs announced that the next person using an avatar smega will be jailed/banned.
2. If you were scrolling something, you were probably banned. This was under Cruze's order.
3. You were using the Bowmaster move, Hurricane, and you started to lag. When you use Hurricane and lag, the auto ban system will automatically think that you were fast-attacking, due to the extreme speed of the move.


Question: Why is my account stuck? It says that I am already logged in, or the server is under inspection.
Answer: This is due to the periods of lag. If your account is stuck, do the following:

1. First log in WITHOUT a password. It will say that you have entered an incorrect password.
2. Then, enter your password and log in. It should log you in.
3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 once again.

If the steps above did not work, you just need to wait it out. Wait 15-30 minutes. Try logging in after that. If it is still stuck, ask a GM to disconnect your character.


Question: The link to download the Maplestory v62 setup (MSSetupv62) is broken. What do I do?

Question: Why can't I become a pirate?
Answer: Pirates are disabled at the moment. You're going to have to select another job until pirates are reenabled.


Question: My exp is negative! How do I fix it?
Answer: Stick to the following steps:

1. Make sure your character is securely saved. To do this, exit your current map and change channels. Then, log off and log back on. If your exp isn't fixed, move onto step 2.
2. Try killing another monster. If your exp isn't fixed, kill another one. You should defeat a variety of monsters that give varied experience. If that doesn't work, move onto step 3.
3. Kill yourself. If this doesn't work, ask a GM POLITELY. Do NOT spam.



As for other questions that you may have, go to Google.com and just ask the question in PROPER ENGLISH. Make sure you don't have any spelling mistakes and keep it short and simple. Trust me, it works!

Kinda half bumping this and half adding to this:

Question: Why is my account stuck? It says that I am already logged in, or the server is under inspection.
Answer: This is due to the periods of lag. If your account is stuck, do the following:

Enter your username into the box
Hold enter/return
Now with the mouse, spam the [OK] button in the pop-up dialogue. It should keep coming up since you're holding enter/return
Spam a few times (over 10)
Stop, and count to 10
Put THE password in, and you should get in.
Try again if you fail. It will ALWAYS get you in if you keep trying (has never failed for me)
