Forum Based IGN Registration

if the user registration for the game was tied in through forum accounts it would allow for things like better account control, since the forums probably wont ever be wiped, the record of who owns what characters would be more reliable so even if the game was wiped people would know that their names at least were still secure; and the forums have a page that allows users to disconnect their own lingering in game connection. Maybe it could hold records of the character stats, updated every so often, so in the event of a wipe those in charge would be capable of restoring characters.

It might require us to use a more relaxed forum host or outright host our own, but I already think that's for the best.
